About James River Church
Vision
Our vision is to live wholehearted in love before God
with passion, purity, and power; and to see our entire
geographic area (starting with Huron) come under the
influence of Jesus’leadership (the Kingdom of God).
Beliefs
We believe God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus
is God. The Bible is the Word of God. Jesus was born of a
virgin, lived, died, and was buried, rose from the dead and
ascended into Heaven. The good news is that a person can
receive eternal life being
born again through faith in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

We believe Christ commands all believers to be baptized in
water and repent of their sins. We believe in the
filling of the Holy Spirit and the expression of all
the gifts of the Spirit being for today. We believe
in the Eternal Judgment and the bodily return of
Jesus Christ. We believe the true mark of a believer
is a transformed life growing in faith, hope,
obedience to Christ, and love. |
