I am a South Dakotan through and through. I was born and raised on a farm in Midland, SD. I was blessed with an amazing Christian home and parents that taught me from my childhood what it meant to love and serve Jesus. God has blessed my life to be a beautiful journey of knowing Him more and more. Growing up in SD, I NEVER even imagined I would ever live here as an adult. In fact, as a young person I would dream of living in warmer climates and different scenery. But at the same time I also have beautiful memories, from as young as 12 years old, of kneeling before the Lord in prayer with tears streaming down my face praying for Revival for SD. It was in those times of prayer that the Lord put a vision and love in my heart for the people of SD that far exceeds my desire to live in a warmer climate.

I met my beloved husband, Jeff, while attending Central Bible College, in Springfield, MO. We married 9 months later on August 3rd, 1996. Aside from loving Jesus, getting married to Jeff was the best decision I have ever made! We LOVE marriage and are passionate about seeing others succeed in their marriages also. Jeff and I graduated from college in 1999. We were planted in a great church during our first 4 years of marriage in Missouri. Together we were Youth Pastors and I was the Children’s Pastor there. Then in 2001 we felt the Lord calling us home to SD. We moved with a team of people and helped plant River Center Church in Pierre SD. While in Pierre, the Lord blessed us with our children Malachi and Abigail. Oh, how I LOVE being a mommy!! My family is pure joy! Then in 2005 River Center Church helped send us out to start James River Church in Huron, SD. What a blessing it has been to serve the community of Huron. I love our city and I am committed to seeing the Kingdom of God come to earth (Huron) as it is in Heaven (Matthew 6:10)!
