Life Groups

In Acts 2 we see the early believers meeting regularly in the temple as well as in their homes. At James River Church we believe that it is essential to follow the model set by the early church by meeting together regularly in small groups. There are many needs a believer may have that can’t be adequately addressed in a large group setting, but are mended in the context of a small group of believers. Lifegroups are small groups of 6 to 15 people that meet in homes throughout the week. We meet for the purpose of encouraging, building, and growing together in the Lord while reaching out to those who don’t know Christ. We do this through studying the Bible, discussion, ministering to and praying with each other, and godly fellowship. Lifegroups allow all attendees to be the hands and feet of Jesus. All regular attendees are strongly encouraged to be active in our Lifegroups.
